P.S. When I pulled into the place it looked closed. Wish I would've just gone elsewhere. I will from now on.
I just stopped there for a pick up order. It was a simple order. 2 pieces of fish with 2 sides, onion rings and Cole slaw. When I got home there was no Cole slaw, no napkins, and the fish and onion rings were cold. The employees appeared to be more interested in partying with their friends out back than doing their jobs. Never again!
Always a delicious choice for when you want some seafood! Lots of different dishes to choose from and very reasonably priced. Also, if you are trying to eat healthier, they have plates for that sans the fried fish.
Floors don't have a bunch of grease actually it's the moisture from outside to the insid. We are understaffed because a lot of the people have quit because they didn't want to do their job correctly. We are also under new management and things are being changed as we go along. We have tried our best and we have tried to hire the best people we can so that your experiences more fun. We are all a hard-working staff and we do our best to make our customers happy. My mom is the gym and I have came in on a day where we were supposed to be closed and helped her clean it from top to bottom because when we got there the old general manager did not have her employees clean at all. She also did not train her employees to the best of her abilities.
I have tried to eat here numerous times, and have always had to leave the line. There is usually one one car ahead of me when I get there, but why am I waiting for 10 minutes and forgotten about? This is terrible business, and not sure why there are issues at this particular location. I'm not sure how much food actually is able to leave that place. I have seen people leave the line many times when I was dropping off packages at FedEx (something I do about 3x a month). Disappointing.
I don't know if the health department visits this restaurant, but they should. The floors are an inch thick with grease. I saw a 12 year old sliding on the floor like an ice rink, while customers were complaining. The walls are dirty, the area where you get tartar sauce, etc is dirty. The wait for the food was extremely long. The girl working there was doing her best waiting on the counter & drive thru, but definitely understaffed. And then the fish wasn't even good...thinner pieces like you would be at the frozen food section of the grocery store. We need a Captain D's in Lee's Summit......or this restaurant should make a lot of changes.
