I've always thought they had good service and good food but after today I will not return. So went in to watch MU/KU basketball game. Place was busy as expected and was told it would be an hour wait to get a table. So stood by the bar and ordered several beverages and checked with the host several times where I was told there were still people ahead of us. Finally found a seat in a corner and continued to watch the game while ordering additional beverage (had to order from the bar watch time as no waitress ever asked if we needed anything). So THREE HOURS later the game was finally over, never having got a table. Not a problem, it was full. I was actually going to stay and order food until I checked with the host who checked their list for tables and they asked for our name.
The food is good and the servers are nice. I don't know if they're under-staffed or poorly trained, but it always takes forever to get a drink. I'm not talking about a fresh drink when you finish your last. I'm talking about the first drink after getting seated, it is always at least 15 minutes between you're first drink order to the time you get that first drink. This has been all nights of the week, busy or slow.
Service was great, burger was delicious!! Atmosphere...awesome!!! The fries were a little cold and the onion rings were soggy
Great place to watch sports. They have TVs all over. The service is great and delicious food. My favorite is the nachos. Huge portions.
I like the food here. Don't go in the dead of winter - you can practically see your breath, it's like three kinds of cold and even with a heater, the places loses like 20 degrees when the door is opened. Good bar food though. No mojitos? It's a bar folks, so it should have everything. Still like the place though.
As they and I looked at the list, I realized that we had been skipped over more than an hour ago! They said it was because of a shift change. THAT SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN!! All the manager could say was that it was busy and she was sorry. We understood that it was busy and we're willing to wait but being skipped over is something that just shouldn't happen! Needless to say we didn't stick around for food and will never be back!
