Now for the not-so-good stuff — I had to ding one star off for this: Although I realize the general public loooooves to make total messes of dining tables wherever they go, we've been a couple of times to WH's who aren't as clean as I'd prefer. Examples vary from leftover straw covers or used spoons on the table, dropped food on the booth seats, self-serve catsup bottle's lids gunked up, to an untidy restroom. NOT ALL AT ONCE! But as a former restaurant owner myself, these things are NOT acceptable.
Greasy, quick, easy breakfast for any time of the day. Great for a fast bite....Bring a jacket!
Good food, clean restrooms and friendly service
We keep going back for the super friendly service and their GRAND SLAM BREAKFASTS — you get a ton of food, INCLUDING A FULL SIZED WAFFLE and UNLIMITED coffee for around $8. Now I'm not much of a menu hopper but I have had pretty much everything on their menu at one time or another and it is all good because Waffle House prides itself on making your breakfast the way YOU WANT IT.
And you want onions in one scrambled egg and the other egg you'd like plain, but over medium? No problem!
Pecans in your waffle? No problem!
Terrible service, my boyfriends biscuits and gravy were cold and the biscuits were hard as a rock, he ate two bites and she still made us pay for it. There was about 5 customers in Waffle House at around 12:35 December 4th, our server was sitting on her phone most of the time, two booths behind us.. which was super unprofessional. & last BUT NOT LEAST When we were done and our card was swiped, our server stood there at our table waiting for us to write down the tip.. which was very uncomfortable. I’m very disappointed with my experience at this Waffle House.

Parking is convenient. Usually one giant unisex bathroom, and handicapped parking with arm rails and skids are standard.

Waffle House is a terrific stop 'n go for breakfast in 30-40 minutes but it's not fancy, sometimes loud because of it’s small size and rowdy bunch of (men) "regulars", and it's only source of entertainment is a jukebox that sits near the front door. That said, Waffle Houses across the state are identical in speed of service (fast!), nature of waitresses (friendly!), and quality of Waffle House's own brand of UNLIMITED coffee (hot, delicious, and plenty of it!).
Most WH's have that wonderful small town, "Come on in 'n have yourself a seat...", then as ya leave, ya may get a "Y'all come back now, ya hear!?"
