We have been visiting the Lees Summit OTB for years, but I was so unhappy with our service this evening. Our table's food took 30 minutes after we finally flagged someone down to place our order...and my husbands order, which was placed at the same time as everyone else's came after everyone was done pretty much done eating. We were one of three tables in the dining room. Our orders were consistently mixed up. I sent my fish tacos back after one bite because they tasted really off. Our waiter was obviously frazzled due to handling the whole dining room by himself and was very rude to all of us, down to putting the checks for the table in a pile so we could sort them ourselves. I am not one to place negative reviews, in fact this is my first, but we went to dinner to celebrate my father in laws birthday, and we all walked away from the restaurant disappointed, saying we would not be back again.
I was employed here briefly. Worked many OT hours off the clock. Watched my GM scratch her private area (with her hand directly inside of her underwear), rinsed her hands off with cold water and no soap, and then continued back to her position in the Expo area preparing orders to be served. Another time she cut her finger while she was cooking and handled it the exact same way. Additionally, one of my coworkers was handicapped. The GM consistently treated her unfairly and differently than all of the other employees -- no patience whatsoever. These are only a few instances of the awful practices i witnessed while working there. I will soon be alerting corporate offices soon so that they can hopefully change this, however i have been so busy lately. My husband and i decided to go back to being homeless rather than working at this place.
We took our whole family there. The wait staff there did a great job serving us. We didn't have to wait long. They were so nice and prompt getting our orders. They checked on us frequently to make sure we had enough chips and drink refills. The food was great! We highly recommend this place as a great place to take your family.
Wasn't really impressed with the food. Found a hair in my food, then there was a peace of plastic on our ranch dressing. The manager was very apologetic, the rush on my enchiladas made them not as good. If you want good drink prices though this would be a place to go.
Food was delicious. Wednesday fajita special is a great deal. Great happy hour drink prices. Service was amazing and quick. Will definitely be back.
