This store has gone downhill fast. I called the guy out on touching money and then not changing his gloves before touching my food. He denied it and refused to change them. Also they mixed up several orders and I had to wait for them to fix that to get my food which was only half wrapped and the other half was still on the counter and the same guy dripped everything he grabbed for the next sandwich across the top of mine. And really stingy with cheese. Come on. Probably won't be back.
Went in for my free birthday sub, nicely asked for puffy bread, have done before... and have overheard others do so.... this young new PERSON said ALL our bread is puffy with an attitude trying to put on GLOVES NO SMILES, NO FRIENDLINESS arguing we decided to pass, told him so we went to another location which I understand is owned by same owner. Those young employees were super nice, toks us they were the other locations sister. This location was friendly BUT I did notice ONLY 2 employees they were busy, seen 3 flies buzzing around & tge meat slicer was filthy and one employee seemed a little under trained. Im NOT looking for more free stuff just letting my voice & friends know to choose wisely and keep an eye out for things as such and more. Really bugs me to NOT see ALL employees wearing hats, visors and hair nets, little loan going from food prep to cashier & back in the SAME GLOVES. I work in food services for district, I don't believe an health inspector would take to kindly to this in either location. We are taught THE customer is always right & if you make them happy, you will have job security!
Not sure i have ever experienced such a rude guy before. I know he was the manager because he was slicing the meat. He was rude and made the most measly sandwich i have ever seen. I go there frequently and i know what a sandwich should look like. I said i wanted cheddar and mozzarella. He could have just said that it would be extra for double cheese (which i of course know) instead he put a slice of each on each side. The turkey was at the very end and instead of getting a new one i just got a shredded blob of turkey. The bread wasnt left to rise enough before cooked so it was so tiny and dry. Very disappointed to say the least
All told, its a good, but not great, Goodcents. The service is sometimes slow, but not poor. They are highschool kids usually, and they don't move very fast. I've always had good food, and its a great location.
