After a terrible cut from another budget haircut place, I came to LookAfter hoping for a stylist that knew what they were doing and not a "beauty school drop-out"(like at the newspaper coupon haircut place I'd been to previously). My appointment was with April, and she is now going to be my go to stylist at this salon! The salon itself is a hidden gem in the little strip mall off NE Rice Road. The shop is not too small, yet not to large to make a person feel overwhelmed or insignificant. The shop is well laid out with seating, products, and a warm friendly atmosphere. My appointment was right on schedule, and April spent a good amount of time listening to me and what I was wanting during our consultation. Shampoo, cut, and blow dry; when I looked in the mirror, I was so very happy with the end result!!! April was able to correct the mistakes from the previous fiasco of a haircut, and my hair was exactly how I was hoping it would look (a sign of a good stylist who can meet the clients wants and expectations). When I paid my bill I was very pleased with the price, and felt the services were worth every penny. I have been looking for a reasonably priced salon that had experienced stylists behind the chair for some time now, and that's exactly what I found at the Lees Summit LookAfter Hair Company. Very happy and already pre-booked my next appointment for 6 weeks from today. I was literally that impressed!
Brandy has been doing my hair for over 10 years. I get so many compliments from my customers at work about how they love my hair. She now does my daughter's hair and eyebrows. They make you feel at home.
Great haircut at a very reasonable price. The ladies there always take real good care of me. Normally it's pretty easy to walk right in but during peak times you may have to wait a little bit due to appointments.
Best place in town. I've been going for years. The staff is so nice and so fun to be around. And they do a great job ! And the price is right !
