I just had to help my sweet kitty girl cross over the Rainbow Bridge. All the staff were so kind and compassionate. She had been here before for other emergencies due to her diabetes. Thank you all for being so wonderful.
This was a wonderful place to go. The staff were very informative and helpful. It was quite pricey, but we can't put a price on our animals.
Brought my dog in late evening due to her second torn ligament in her second hind knee. They got her in to see the vet in a timely manner, got my dog on pain meds and recommended she see her regular vet as soon as possible. I appreciate that they did not attempt to sell us Xrays. The cost was reasonable. High, but that's what one expects for an emergency vet. I'm glad they were there.
If you have any other option I would do that before this place. Long story short I was quoted 600$ to keep my dog over night. Total came to $1200. My boy was 8 months old had suffered a heat stroke from a short run. kidneys and brain had failed but the vet continued to tell me he could make it and continued to ask for more and more money. Dr winters had no compassion only continued to ask for money. If the money wasn't there he looked the other way. Playing on emotions for my animal to get every last dollar. End result I payed $1200 to save my puppy when there was no chance and he ended up passing shortly after.
We took my puppy Saber in on July 23, 2016 because he collapsed from our nightly walk. The doctor kept asking for more and more money and would only tell us that Saber was stable but unresponsive. We felt like they were just trying to get money from us so we took him to another vet, who informed us that our dog had been brain dead for hours and that the vets at this establishment had to know. He passed shortly after that. It is so cruel to take advantage of people in times like these which is exactly what they were doing when they knew our dog was not going to make it. We left paying $1200 and they still wanted more. I'm having to post my review again because it looks as if mine was deleted.
