Horrible experience. Guy was rude overall and either uninformed or else didn't care. We needed a replacement key for our Mazda - he told me sure they could do that. I showed him the key and he said the replacement key would work fine everywhere even without the chip. It didn't. When I came back he told me he never said that and it would be a bunch more money to do the right key.
I had a keypad, an electromagnetic lock and the need for an emergency exit release...I didn't have a clue how to wire it all together, and was at my wits end. As a last ditch effort - I showed up at The Lock Doctor at close to closing time and asked for help. Everyone there wanted to help, and in the end the two electrical guys and even the owner took the time to work through my difficult equation and made it all work. The customer service there and the friendliness behind it was extraordinary. If I even have so much as a key that needs to be copied - from now on - I will go no where else. Thanks, guys.
I got two Honda sidewinder keys cut total of $30. They even lubricated the lock on my car while waiting for the second key to finish. Very friendly and helpful staff.
I was told by a dealer my car key had lost programming. I checked here for the reviews and the good far outweighed any negatives. I spoke with Mark and he quoted $60 for trip charge and about $40 for programming. He showed up on time even though he had an unlock to do on the way. He called to let me know of the delay and was still there earlier than expected. The bad news is the programming didn't work but he did it 3 times to make sure. He only charged me the trip charge which I was more than happy to pay. Definately recommend.
phone experience only... lock doctor was a great listener and so helpful! really explained my problem and gave me a cheaper, easier solution... then when i said i wasn't nearby, he recommended two other locksmiths... CLASSY way to run a business!!!
