I love this bookstore and it's one of the only places in Lee's Summit to get children's books.
Selection: It's definitely much smaller than a Barnes & Nobel, a lot like Meg Ryan's bookstore in "You've Got Mail". But they actually have a quite a great selection of books. The whole front of the store is all children's books and in the back room they have a selection of used adult books. They also carry a nice selection of adult coloring books which is quite a fad right now.
Great Bookstore! Loads of Children's books and good used Mysteries and popular books. Always like to shop here.
Price: The books are priced at what they would be at any store, but they do have a nice buyer's card that gives you credit every time you purchase books to eventually earn $5 off your next purchase.
Service: The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the books and the authors which I appreciate when looking for the best books based on an age or reading level. They always have a nice seasonal selection too to spotlight books based on the nearest holiday. I have had them order books for me and they usually arrive within 1 week and they will call you when the book comes in.
And to Cord: Although you may not read books, the same does not apply to intelligent and well-read persons, bless your heart.
